The 21st of February is my 51st birthday. With everything that's been going, hell *is* going on, I'm not sure I'll be interested in celebrating, but
loracs asked me what I wanted to do. It occurred to me, I have no idea. I thought it might be fun to ask you all. What should I do for my birthday?
I'm not much of a party person. I love music, theater, movies, books, food etc. So, is there anything fun, new, different happening on my birthday that I might enjoy? I figure, even if I don't celebrate this year. I should end up with a list of stuff to try, see, visit, any ideas?

Beyond that, I don't know of any event-type things that are in the right geographic area for you. Alexei and I recently saw a terrific play at the San Jose Rep (A Picasso), which is running until the 22nd, but I'm guessing that's a bit far. If anything else comes to mind, though, I will certainly holler.

I probably should have been clearer that I'm not really up for celebrating right now. I guess I thought if someone came up with something exactly my kind of thing at exactly the right place and time for my convenience I may have gone. It may be better to postpone things until at least the majority of my family is feeling well. I also thought it might be fun to find out what people think I would enjoy just out of curiosity.
