*nodnod* I did the same thing when the IKEA opened in Emeryville. The store at the time had a barrier around the store so people couldn't take their shopping carts to their parking structure. They had one gate to provide access to wheelchair users. Then they stored all the shopping carts right up against the gate. There was no way for me to get in. I managed to get store employees to move the carts. So I could shop, but after they did they immediately put them back blocking the gate.I told them they couldn't block an access feature like that. They eventually got rid of the fence entirely. After I wrote another letter. I did add the local newspapers to the list that time. I got lots of activity almost immediately.
