Three years ago today, I had my first date with serenejournal. It was wet and cold and I didn't care that the weather sucked. There was kissing and handholding. We laughed at the particular cluelessness of a friend's clothing advice. I was very aware of her hand on my knee.

We drank coffee and tea. She ordered lentil soup that mostly got ignored. We shared freshly made potato chips and my life was changed forever.

I love you Buttercup. Happy anniversary!
