I am ever so slowly getting better, I think. [personal profile] serenejournal was kind enough to come over and take care of me. Another example of our glamorous polylives. :-) She even made me chicken soup! Once [personal profile] loracs got home she took over for the night shift. I managed to lay down for a couple hours. I slept in my chair for maybe a half hour and slept for about an hour and a half in bed. That's maybe four or five hours of sleep over the last three days. We don't really need sleep do we? I haven't eaten much this week either. I'm really hoping, I'll be able to sleep tomorrow. Thank you all for your good wishes. Although, I feel like shit. I also feel very lucky to have wonderful partners and great friends.

*HUGS*

Glad to hear you are getting better if slowly. Hope you get a good nights sleep soon. Katie had it a while ago it seemed to take forever for it to pass.I think that is why they call it walking pneumonia is it still alows you to function somewhat while it is kicking your butt.
Feel better soon
Love you Big Bro!

Having had what they call "walking pneumonia" I will agree with the advice to take it easy.

Never mind glamour, stuff like this is part of why open poly is a good thing: I might be able to slip off somewhere for a couple of hours of hot monkey sex and not have it known, but I wouldn't be able to actually take care of my beloveds, or be taken care of by all of them, and hide that.

Excellent point!

Gotcha

So maybe you're not really sick - this is all just a big experiment on the effects of sleep deprivation and stress on poly relationships? Yep, I thought so, where's the hidden camera?
