For those who somehow missed it

Mama Amazon.com wants to "protect" us from all those nasty "adult" books. Especially (it appears) LGBT subjects and authors. If you want to know more and do a little something about it look over here, "Amazon Fail"

Edited to add:

[personal profile] kightp points to an alternate theory here.

Thanks Pat.

For an alternate theory, this one makes a lot of sense to me (http://tehdely.livejournal.com/88823.html).

Thanks Pat I added the alternate theory to my initial post. It's always difficult to know what is the right action.

This is why I tried to keep my response fairly neutral. Whether or not it was intentional by the company (I doubt it) or an aspect of their rating system that was exploited by someone else, the result is something that Amazon needs to address, and quickly, if they want any more of my money.

I've been watching what [personal profile] copperbadge has to say about it. His latest on the subject includes a quote from Amazon about the "cataloging error" and their response...
