1. dunno you well enough to say.
2. "vague wisdom" -- that you're not sure whether the things you believe are wise? i'd say it's cryptic, yeah.
3. yes. though not enough, because you don't post much, and more memeage than your own thoughts. :)
4. yes, i would guess whom your bio describes, i think. though only based on the first part. i didn't even know the ex-pat stuff.
5. polyamory, disability, robert heinlein surprise me the least, since these are the first things i knew about you.
6. i don't know about surprise, but "amsterdam", "foreign films, and "sondheim" stand out for me.
7. winnie-the-pooh. i know who is is, why is he on your list? what does "bordello" refer to?
8. 31, if i counted correctly.
9. probably the other 70. or maybe not. depends on what you mean by "strangers". people i've never even heard of?
10. single choices are for people who're not poly. :) actually i don't even know what most of them mean. the ones i like best are guy2 and the one with you and serene.

1. dunno you well enough to say.

Yeah.

2. "vague wisdom" -- that you're not sure whether the things you believe are wise? i'd say it's cryptic, yeah.

I like it cryptic. It actually came about when I tried to explain my style of communication. I kind of throw out a bunch of thoughts that eventually turn into wisdom, slightly vague wisdom.

3. yes. though not enough, because you don't post much, and more memeage than your own thoughts. :)

That's fair. I'll work on posting more original stuff.

4. yes, i would guess whom your bio describes, i think. though only based on the first part. i didn't even know the ex-pat stuff.

Not many do, at least nobody's commented. I get pretty tired of fighting my government and when I'm especially discouraged, leaving looks pretty good. Even if I don't leave the US perminently, I'd love to live abroad for an extended time. I'd like to really get to know a place and for me that takes time.

5. polyamory, disability, robert heinlein surprise me the least, since these are the first things i knew about you.

Yeah, I'm not very cryptic there.

6. i don't know about surprise, but "amsterdam", "foreign films, and "sondheim" stand out for me.

Hey, I'm Danish! Gotta see Amsterdam. I'm a huge film buff foreign films included and Sondheim's did some of my favorite musicals.
7. winnie-the-pooh. i know who is is, why is he on your list? what does "bordello" refer to?

Winnie's a childhood fave. No real deep thinking there. I have a fascination with some aspects commercial sex. Visiting an old style bordello is one of them.

9. probably the other 70. or maybe not. depends on what you mean by "strangers". people i've never even heard of?
I had trouble figuring that out when I answered this one in another journal. I didn't count anyone I knew at all.

10. single choices are for people who're not poly. :)

True enough. :-)

actually i don't even know what most of them mean. the ones i like best are guy2 and the one with you and serene.

Yep I like the one with serene too.

1. Does my username suit me?

Yes.

2. Is my journal's title cryptic or descriptive? What do you think it means?

Cryptic. I imagine that it means you prefer the sun to the cold, but I don't know.

3. Does my journal expand your knowledge of me?

Some, but I know you pretty well.

4. Do you think my bio describes me well? If there were no names given would you be able to guess who it was describing?

Yes.

5. Which of my interests surprises you the least?

the science fiction, polyamory, and disability ones (oh, and the music ones)

6. Which of my interests surprises you the most?

the Sierra Club (and absinthe)

7. Which of my interests needs explaining?

not too many, but why absinthe?

8. How many of my friends' journals do you read on a regular basis?

thirty (!)

9. How many of my friends are strangers to you?

nineteen, defining strangers as people I don't know in person and haven't focused on or specifically noticed in LJ (and not counting names that look like community names rather than people's handles)

10. Which of my userpics suits me best?

I just associate the gimp stud userpic with you; do you have others?

6. Which of my interests surprises you the most?

I have issues with the Sierra Club. I don't think they pay enough to attention to the poor especially in undeveloped countries. Some conservation efforts have enormous impact on the poor and there's not much being done to mitigate those impacts. I don't think there's enough being done for urban poor who are paying dearly in lead and mercury poisoning. I think the Sierra Club is isolated from the broader view of what we do to maintain our environment for future generations. However, I am a lifetime member and I do support their main goals.

7. Which of my interests needs explaining?

not too many, but why absinthe?

I've always had a mild fascination with hallucinogens. Except for pot, I have never tried any. On my visit to New Orleans, I came upon the Absinthe Bar that was closed at the time for renovations. It occurred to me that I had no idea what absinthe was and did some internet research. It began to seem romantic and mysterious. I thought it interesting how Jean Lanfray motivated many countries to make it illegal. He murdered his wife after going on quite a drinking spree. Which included a very little bit of absinthe and yet absinthe and absinthe alone got blamed.

Sure, take a look at my user profile page and then click on the userpic. Then you can see my other pictures, I have a few xango images and a picture of me and serene etc.
