I'm tired! In a good way but still tired. We had a party at our place yesterday. It was an open house to show off our home improvements. New foundation, repaired roof, remodeled kitchen, new shed, cement slab and the exposed aggregate yin yang symbol in the center of the backyard, cement slab for extra parking in the front yard, tankless water heater, new backdoor, new fence, new doggie door for Gilly and new interior paint job. The house was a hit. We had many people come and enjoy themselves yesterday.

I'm not really a big party person, but I managed to have a good time. Interesting group of people. Many of whom had never met each other. Carols co-workers, Betty's co-workers, my friends and my partner serenejournal. As usual my partner Carol went a little crazy getting the party ready. I wish she could lower her expectations and not work quite so hard. Fortunately, serenejournal helped quite a bit the day before and the day of the party. My sister, tracytreefrog finally got to meet serenejournal. It really dawned on me what a great life I have. The genuinely good people in my life. How this happened is miraculous.

Yes it was a fun group of people. All cool and interesting in there own way. The house and company were both wonderful. Yes U R lucky and smart enough to realize just how lucky. But we R all lucky to be apart of your life also*HUGS*
