This is basic reasonable behavior, and exactly what I'd expect from her.

I think it goes beyond the basics to widen one's gate for a friend, but in a good way.

It seemed "of course she would" given that I know they're doing gate/fence rebuilding work already.

I guess "of course she would" sounds to me as though she would've been remiss not to.

Ah.

Clarification: not "of course, anyone would/everyone should do that" but "I'm not surprised, that's the kind of cool person
