*swoon*! Marry me? ;-)
1. Citizen Kane (1941) Loved it!
I think I was too young to like it the first time, but I loved it the second time.
2. Casablanca (1942) Loved it!
Have to admit I think that movie's overrated, but I adore Bergman no matter what, so it's worth it.
3. The Godfather (1972) Loved it!
Yep.
4. Gone With The Wind (1939) Eh.
Yep.
11. It's A Wonderful Life (1946) It still gets me a little weepy
Me, too. :-) Forced cute-poet-chick to watch it. She was not impressed.
14. Some Like It Hot (1959) My first gender bending experience, especially the end.
Heh.
19. Chinatown (1974) My nose is still sore!
Um, huh?
20. One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1975) I played Cheswick in a school production of the play.
Way cool.
21. The Grapes Of Wrath (1940) I've forgotten Henry Fonda's characters name, but I really hope his spirit is with us now.
Tom Joad? I loved the book. Again, I was too young to get how good the film was when I saw it as a kid, but adored it when I saw it last year as part of California's project to read the book.
22. 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) Personally, not my favorite science-fiction movie nor my favorite Kubrik.
I can take this one or leave it.
26. Dr. Strangelove (1964) We must protect our precious bodily fluids!
*grin*
34. To Kill A Mockingbird (1962) This is a personal favorite of mine.
I don't think I've seen it.
37. The Best Years Of Our Lives (1946) In which one actor with a disability, makes history by winning two Oscars for one part!
I thought it was the character who had the disability, not the actor.
48. Jaws (1975) I hated it!
I was scared of the ocean for years after seeing that movie.

*swoon*! Marry me? ;-)
As soon as you make enough money to keep me in the lifestyle I have become accustomed. :-)
1. Citizen Kane (1941) Loved it!
I think I was too young to like it the first time, but I loved it the second time.
It does take a certain amount of sophistication to get that movie.
2. Casablanca (1942) Loved it!
Have to admit I think that movie's overrated, but I adore Bergman no matter what, so it's worth it.
But it's so beautiful! It's OK. I can overlook this one small flaw in your character. :-)
3. The Godfather (1972) Loved it!
Yep.
4. Gone With The Wind (1939) Eh.
Yep.
11. It's A Wonderful Life (1946) It still gets me a little weepy.
Me, too. :-) Forced cute-poet-chick to watch it. She was not impressed.
14. Some Like It Hot (1959) My first gender bending experience, especially the end.
Heh.
Given it's time, I thought it was remarkably subversive.
19. Chinatown (1974) My nose is still sore!
Um, huh?
You gotta see the movie. I'll tell you if you really want to know.
20. One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1975) I played Cheswick in a school production of the play.
Way cool.
Thank you love.
21. The Grapes Of Wrath (1940) I've forgotten Henry Fonda's characters name, but I really hope his spirit is with us now.

22. 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) Personally, not my favorite science-fiction movie nor my favorite Kubrik.
I can take this one or leave it.
Yep, my theory is you have to be high to really enjoy it. Especially the ending.
26. Dr. Strangelove (1964) We must protect our precious bodily fluids!
*grin*
I'm such an idiot! This is my favorite Kubrick film. I completely forgot he directed this one.
34. To Kill A Mockingbird (1962) This is a personal favorite of mine.
I don't think I've seen it.
You'd like it!
37. The Best Years Of Our Lives (1946) In which one actor with a disability, makes history by winning two Oscars for one part!
I thought it was the character who had the disability, not the actor.
The actor was a double below the elbow amputee. I believe he lost his arms in the Korean War. He was playing a disabled vet.
48. Jaws (1975) I hated it!
I was scared of the ocean for years after seeing that movie.
When I saw it. I was not fond of being scared.

I saw Chinatown around ten years ago, but I didn't get the reference.

I'm sorry I took so long to get online this morning. One thing LJ does not do well, is quoting.

And no need to apologize. My being excited because you're here doesn't mean you've done anything wrong by not being here. *smooch*
