Govenor Arnold. *sigh* Once again I feel completely alien. How could this happen? Recall him? Hell, I want the SF Bay Area to form it own state. I'm so tired of fighting Orange County.

Secession sounds really good. I think we could even make it work just dividing the state into North and South (Humboldt etc notwithstanding).

Or we divvy into three parts. Part one is Gilroy on up. Two is just south of Gilroy to the Grapevine. Then we make a sweetheart deal with the San Joaquin Valley growers for water shipments, and compensate for it by reaming LA.

I too am depressed and dispirited. And ready to secede (if I thought it was possible).

Well it isn't impossible. Improbable probably (say that three times fast, it's fun :-). There have been at least a few bills proposed suggesting splitting California into two to three states in the past. Not that they went anywhere.

I don't suppose we'll change our luck so rapidly as to get Schwarzenegger listening to Buffett anytime soon.
