Govenor Arnold. *sigh* Once again I feel completely alien. How could this happen? Recall him? Hell, I want the SF Bay Area to form it own state. I'm so tired of fighting Orange County.

I too am depressed and dispirited. And ready to secede (if I thought it was possible).

But at least 54 didn't pass.

And the next act in the circus will be our governor's trial on sexual harassment charges. Politics as entertainment. *sigh*

Dare we hope that he'll pay attention to Warren Buffett? And raise taxes?

Well it isn't impossible. Improbable probably (say that three times fast, it's fun :-). There have been at least a few bills proposed suggesting splitting California into two to three states in the past. Not that they went anywhere.

I don't suppose we'll change our luck so rapidly as to get Schwarzenegger listening to Buffett anytime soon.
