serenejournal Update
Apr. 6th, 2004 12:25 pmstonebenderserenejournal wants me to let people know that she has a job! On her way home from visiting someotherguy's family I got a call from a temp service she had registered with, I called her on the road and she called them back. She now has a three to four month gig with [FedEx] in Oakland.I've assured her this is clear evidence that her move to the Bay Area was meant to be. When she first started talking about moving up here, we made a list of things-that-would-be-good-to-have-or-be-near-in-the-new-place. As far as I can tell, she got everything except having a wheelchair accessible place. I knew she was a little nervous about not having a job when she moved up here. Now with perfect timing a job appears. She is still looking for a permanent position, but the pressure of getting bills paid for the next few months is off.
