War for the Oaks is possibly one of my favorite fantasy novels.
Generally when asked what my favorite whatever is I just pick one of the many and warn folk that my favorites are always subject to change. I posted this meme without thinking it through very much. If I had had more energy I would have reworded several of these questions.
8. Tattoos and/or Piercings: standard ear piercings (one each, in lobes) and a rocket ship tattoo on my left breast.

9. Favorite TV Show: for heaven's sake, I can't pick. I loved West Wing, but it's over. My current TIVO season pass list is: Gilmore Girls, ER, Grey's Anatomy, The Closer, Project Runway, Medium, House.
Except for Project Runway (which I don't have enough interest in fashion to care for) and The Closer (which I haven't seen). We'd get along real well television-wise.
12. Would you give me a unicorn?: Unlikely. My gifts run toward the consumables: food, liquor, lotion.
Food and liquor, I'm your guy! I tend to avoid the lotions
