Guess what? I have "walking" pneumonia. I didn't sleep at all last night. Almost went to the emergency room. By morning I decided to see if I could get a same day appointment with my doctor, but he was out so I saw a nurse practitioner. Called for appointment about 9:00 am, got one for 10:45 am. I was ready to go home with a prescription for tetracycline and an inhaler. Costing me a grand total of four dollars. Who says government run health care can't work? Hopefully I'll be able to sleep tonight. Don't know what I'll do if I can't.

I'm sorry you're sick and I hope it gets better fast. When alanbostick had walking pneumonia earlier this year, the antibiotics knocked it right out, in about 18 hours (if not less).

You having walking pneumonia is a little like, "Doctor, after the operation will I be able to play the piano?"
