Guess what? I have "walking" pneumonia. I didn't sleep at all last night. Almost went to the emergency room. By morning I decided to see if I could get a same day appointment with my doctor, but he was out so I saw a nurse practitioner. Called for appointment about 9:00 am, got one for 10:45 am. I was ready to go home with a prescription for tetracycline and an inhaler. Costing me a grand total of four dollars. Who says government run health care can't work? Hopefully I'll be able to sleep tonight. Don't know what I'll do if I can't.

I'm sorry you're sick and I hope it gets better fast. When [livejournal.com profile] alanbostick had walking pneumonia earlier this year, the antibiotics knocked it right out, in about 18 hours (if not less).

You having walking pneumonia is a little like, "Doctor, after the operation will I be able to play the piano?"

Sleep well!

Here's to some sleep and mighty antibiotics. (That is, mighty to the bad germs and leaving the good germs alone.)

i think that should be rolling pneumonia. or scooting pneumonia. or something.

feel better soon. the antibiotics, as wild_irises says, are frequently wonderful for this sort of thing.

Hopefully I'll be able to sleep tonight. Don't know what I'll do if I can't.

Presumably, lie awake and mizzubul. But I hope you slept.
