Trivialities I'm thinking about
May. 2nd, 2006 01:25 pmThere's a Burger King commercial that has rewritten the words to "I Am Woman". Turning it into "I Am Man" to sell crappy hamburgers. This bothers me.
I was watching a rerun of ER yesterday morning. It was the episode that Dr. Green left the hospital to die. I realized that the second to last patient Dr. Green treated was the same actress that Dr. Green treated on the premier episode of ER. In fact the patient had the very same complaint, a hangnail. In the first episode, the actress played a very rich but bored woman. In Dr. Green's final episode (well final episode as a doctor, there was the final dying episode) she was a very poor emotionally neglected woman. I enjoyed the symmetry.
