I'm sorry you had to spend time in Rockford--did you find things to amuse you?
CIL Board work should count for twenty years because it's really hard to be on any board, and CIL boards are particularly hard because ... well you know. ABs and disabled people POVs widely diverging; scrounging for money and wanting to do ALL the things; herding unpaid cats.
re: TV--Have you see any Killjoys? Properly SFnal, since they drop you in the middle and don't explaiiiiin everything twice (or even once). The lead bounty hunter is a beautiful fighter, with a very twisty backstory, and she has a deep platonic relationship with her XO.
What's wheelchair access like in NOLA? How much riding in the street?
