I grabbed this from
wispfox
Full name: Guy Wayne Thomas
Were you named after anyone? Yes, my first name comes from two movie cowboy actors: Guy Williams's (who was one of the actors who played Zorro and was in "Lost in Space") and Guy Madison. My middle name comes from John Wayne. My dad likes Westerns.
When did you last cry? I tend to cry at unimportant things rather than the important stuff. Embarrassingly enough, the last time I remember crying was listening to Bob Seager's version of "The Little Drummer Boy". I have a thing for that song. It always makes me cry.
Do you like your handwriting? Not particularly, but I miss being able to.
What is your favorite lunchmeat? Good salami.
Any bad habits? Got a couple days?
What is your most embarassing CD on the shelf? I guess those guys who did the Macarena? But that's Carol's fault. :-)
If you were another person, would YOU be friends with you? Sure, I make a good friend. I'm not sure I would be partner's with myself however.
Have you ever told a secret you swore not to tell? No.
Do looks matter? For what? In a beauty contest, probably. In my boss, I couldn't care less. Actually, looks do matter but not in the objective sense. I don't really believe in objective beauty. There are people I like the looks of, there are people I don't like the looks of, but my appreciation for people's physical beauty can change depending upon whether I like them as a person.
How do you release anger? I yell (hopefully in private at an inanimate object) or play violent video games or swallow it and get depressed.
Where is your second home? Even though I have never been there, San Diego.
Do you trust others easily? I believe that people will treat me well as a default, but deeply trusting someone takes a bit of time for me.
What class in school do you think is totally useless? For me, gym.
Do you have a journal? Yep, this one.
Do you use sarcasm a lot? Probably too much
Have you ever been in a mosh pit? Not officially, I was in the third row at an Emerson, Lake and Palmer concert when the audience rushed the stage. The pressure from the audience lifted and carried me a good twelve feet. I've never been so scared.
What are your nicknames? Stonebender (although, that is sort of self-imposed and no one actually calls me that), Gus, Wheels, The Brain (very facetiously), Westley
Would you bungee jump? The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. I would love to try, but I would most probably break every bone in my body.
Do you untie your shoes when you taken them off? Nope.
Do you think that you are strong? Physically? No. Emotionally? Yes, very.
How many wisdom teeth do you have? All four.
How many people have a crush on you right now? Outside of my acknowledged partners, I have no idea. I don't suspect I have any. I'm not the sort that inspires crushes.
What color pants are you wearing? Black jogging pants.
What are you listening to right now? Something Corporate
Last thing you ate? Bacon.
Last person you talked to on the phone? My partner Carol
The first thing you notice about the opposite sex? It depends on the person and circumstance. The way they think, hair, sound of their voice, how they carry themselves, eyes, laughter, how they smell, I like butts.
Do you like the person who sent you this? (translate as: that I snagged it from) Given that I only really know her from livejournal, yes.
Favorite drink? Coffee, easily.
Do you wear contacts? No, but reading glasses are a recent addition to my disability related equipment.
Siblings? 3 of them. 1 brother, 2 sisters. I'm firstborn.
Favorite month? I have never thought of a favorite month, perhaps April, I also like fall in the Midwest. It wouldn't be winter months.
Are you too shy to ask someone out? Well, I have asked people out. So I'm not too shy, but it's not an easy thing for me to do.
Hugs or kisses? I would normally say hugs for most/all friends, but because of my disability it's hard to get a hug without making it a production. Recently people have kissed me on the cheek. I certainly feel like I can participate more in a kiss than a hug. Although, it would have to be a very close male friend to feel comfortable being kissed.
Living arrangements? I live in a house with my SO, Carol and Carol’s SO Betty and our dobe, Gilly.
What books are you reading? Quicksilver by Neal Stephenson.
What's on your mousepad? Nothing, I use a trackball.
What did you watch on TV last night? Gilmore Girls, 24, Ordinary Joe (yes, I worship at the glass, as well as the silicon, tit).
What's the first thing you think when you wake up in the morning? Stop licking my head Gilly.
