I've done something you haven't done

I'm going to try to list ten. Although mine are nowhere as cool as kightp's list.

1. I was kissed by Bat Girl at the Hollywood Bowl.
2. I got to shake Rosa Parks hand.
3. Dianne Feinstein had me arrested.
4. I was the first disabled person to be mainstreamed in my school district when I was 12.
5. I was on the Board of Directors and was elected president twice of the first Independent Living Center.
6. I was a stand-in poster child for Easter Seals.
7. I posed nude for a book. (I suspect this one isn't all that unique :-)
8. While working as a crisis intervention phone counselor I helped four people find a reason not to kill themselves.
9. I've been an "expert" on a couple local radio shows.
10. I had a speaking part in a public service television commercial

i share number 8 with you. though i'm not sure of the numbers i had over 1000 volunteer hours logged in the three years i did it.

*nod* I was mostly talking about the more serious/memorable cases. I did the Saturday 12 midnight to 8 AM shift for a couple of years. So there were lots of people who mentioned suicide but were, as far as I know, less serious.
