I think I remember a concert at Freight and Salvage. Way before Shannon, but I couldn't tell you what we saw or if that was the time we met.

Hmm ... that sounds right. I think it was either there or on the street in downtown Berkeley. I know I did run into you and Deb downtown at some point when I barely knew who you were, but it might not have been the very first time we met. It's just been long enough that it's hard to remember.

But you're most definitely correct that I've known you considerably longer than I've known my husband. :)

I'm pretty sure Zed didn't introduce us, but I could be wrong. And I do definitely remember running into you downtown when I was walking around with him, lo these many years ago.
