Thanks to some friends and a whole bunch of work from serene *all* my books are in bookcases and almost in order.

Had a wonderful day with

serenejournal yesterday, even though I was in a most prickly mood. I felt much better once she arrived.

loracs and I have been finding many more excuses to laugh about silly things that are probably only funny to us.

I finally accepted the fact that I just can't read paperbacks anymore. So I've gotten rid of a butt load of paperbacks. Which has simplified my book organizing immensely and relieved me of the guilt I've felt for years (literally) about all the books I owned that I would never read.

I finished off *two* books last week. I can't remember the last time I've done that. (Are you sensing a theme around the books? :-)

I discovered just how many old paperbacks I can get in hardcover for not much more than paperbacks thanks to several used book web sites. Now hardcovers I can read! I bought many Mongo mysteries and I'm re-reading Beasts of Valhalla I'm not sure I'm spelling that right.

Yesterday, I was able to help a dear friend feel a little better I think.

I have an appointment on April 10th to talk to some adaptive technology experts. They're going to help me figure out some ways to make my life a
lot easier.

And today I'm looking out my back window at a truly spectacular blue sky. The clouds look substantial enough that I could go visit them.
