So many invites, so little social energy

Invited to three, count'em three, gatherings all happening today. I bowed out of two of them. Thinking I'd attend a party at Donya and Allen's. Which is an annual thing I used to go to, but I've been missing the last couple years. wild_irises had even offered to drive me. By yesterday, I knew I wasn't up to a party. So I let wild_irises know I'd changed my mind. loracs and I spent yesterday doing errands and I never got to bed until 2:30am or so.

serenejournal and her mom went yard saling this morning. They ended up at our local dim sum place. serenejournal invited loracs and I to come along, if I felt up to it. We ran into tenacious_snail who had invited me to dim sum weeks ago. If I'd known how this day would turn out. I shoulda just accepted her invite. Ah, well. Got a hug from inflectionpoint which is always nice.

After brunch(?) We stopped by a Goodwill. Where I bought way too many Star Trek TNG action figures (re: dolls). I also, bought a book and a red cap.
