The California Supreme Court struck down the gay marriage ban as unconstitutional! *happy dance* I never thought it would happen. Right now, I'm so proud of them, and my state.
dbubley offered to get down on her knee and propose to me proper now. I said "and then you'll never get up", she said "okay you get down on your knee" and of course, I said "then I'll never get up." I think we agreed to do it all from a seated position.
There's already talking about putting another anti-gay proposal on the Nov. ballot. A battle won today, we fight again tomorrow until we win the war. (Yuck, I hate using war terminology but I'm too busy to figure out a better way to say it.)
