Mar. 24th, 2003 08:03 pmI believe that Saddam Hussein is an evil man and that the Iraqi people would be better off without him.
I still do no believe that the United States government has any right to unilaterally invade another sovereign nation. Yeah, yeah there are other countries involved, but we know who's running the show.
I believe that if the United States really wants to get rid of weapons of mass distraction, we should lead by example and get rid of ours.
I am embarrassed that the President of the United States has vilified any country that disagrees with him. Especially since Germany and France who are two of the opponents to the war have been the United States’ most steadfast and effective allies against the terrorists who actually had something to do with attacking the United States.
I don't believe that Saddam Hussein had anything to do with the terrorist attack on 9/11.
I believe it is possible to be against the war and support the troops fighting it. In fact, I believe many anti-war protesters, protest because they don't want to see any troops die or have them kill other innocents.
I don't believe the President of the United States has ever truly been interested in the people of Iraq’s liberty or human rights. He uses it as another rationale to invade Iraq.
I believe the United States has demonstrated no ability to establish a stable democracy in a foreign country. The United States is much better establishing or supporting dangerous tyrants into power.
I believe that even if the United States could establish a democracy in a foreign land, they don't have a right to establish one. The indigenous people of the country involved must choose their own form of governance.
I'm angry that the president has not included the costs of this war in our national budget. However, he still insists on giving the richest people a tax break and cutting vital services to the most vulnerable Americans
