    One of my favorite things is conversing, well reasoned debate talking with friends.

    Cinema is a cherished artform to me. Foreign films can be a window into such different worlds.

    Rock and folk singer-song writing babes. What's not to love?

    I think she writes very fun music not particularly deep.

    For comfort and because its not simple for me to go without clothes, I wear them. However, I'd prefer to wear less.
  7. reading:
    I've identified as a reader my whole life. Its a very important part of me.
  8. science-fiction:
    Loves the bug-eyed monsters I does! Seriously, "Waldo", _More than Human_ Star Trek's "Plato's Children". Science Fiction was a genre that included people like me. I existed there at a time when I was invisible in the world.
  9. spider robinson:
    Spider isn't the greatest writer but in most of his books there is a scene that is so very real. His work is comfort food for me. Yes a lot of it is sappy but people care for each other in his stories. I'd love to hang at Callahan's
  10. west wing:
    Sorkin is god! He can write TV. Except for perhaps Sports Night (another creation of his) West Wing is some of the best TV ever!

I knew you we're going to bust me for that one. :-) I should probably have said. I haven't listened to lots of Mary Chapin Carpenter, but the stuff I've liked of hers tends toward the silly. "I Feel Lucky" for example.
