I've not seen the newsgroup for the last few days, because I am sick. so I can't be sure, but I suspect that someone who is accusing you of overreacting would be in the same situation as someone who called me by a rude name, and was surprised if I yelled at them, because the last 50 people he called that didn't. Well, no, and maybe I didn't yell at the last 49 people who called me that.
