serenejournal is having, as she calls it, "a day". Being in an LDR really sucks when your sweetie is having a rough day and you can't give her a hug or get her some iced tea and a tomato sandwich. Maybe even smack around her bosses for making things more difficult. Not that I could do all of those things even if I were close, but dammit I'd find a way to do some of them for her.

Nevermind, my live-in is also having "a month" that I don't seem to be able to help with much either. And let's not get into what my blood family is going through. Most everybody is out of work with no prospects in the near future. I'm feeling especially overwhelmed and impotent today. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!

Well, with moving and all, we haven't gotten much of the ranting done either. I am glad to be what ever help I can be. I didn't mean to suggest that your "ranting" was any kind of a burden. It isn't. I had just had a conversation with my sister. Which required a call to my mom and I found out how much was really not going well for so many of the people I love.
