Apr. 19th, 2004 06:45 pmIt's something in the air I'm sure. Last week Betty my housemate and my partners partner rear-ended a car on the way work. No one was hurt. The gentleman's car she ran into got barely scratched. Unfortunately, Betty's car was totaled. Although she really could spend the money somewhere else, she can afford a new (used) car.
I just got off the phone with my sister. Who informed me that she had been rear-ended on the way to work this morning. She seems fine. She worked all day and complains always sore neck, knee and thumb. She refused to go to the hospital (us Thomas's are like that). Her car wasn't damaged but the guy who rear-ended her had some damage. He left the scene however, without exchanging insurance information.
I told her to take some ibuprofen and put some ice on her neck. Hopefully, she is fine. Having no health insurance sucks!
