My highest match was 61%, and I haven't seen a lot of results above that in other folks' lists either.

I have a surprising number in the mid-60s and above, but I suspect that's because I gave more-or-less positive answers to almost everything but the scat questions, and had a *lot* of however-they-worded that mid-range "maybe, maybe not" responses.

I didn't like the answer choices. I'd have preferred a range that went from "Yes, please, more" to "No way in hell," with "it depends on the circumstances" or "try me on a good night" in the middle.

But that's just me. (-:

Yeah - that's about how I answered. And about the kinds of additional answers I would have liked. Although I also wanted a 'haven't tried it but wouldn't be against it', rather than just 'haven't tried it but curious'.

This is why the original "compatibility" test went from 20% to 120% -- inflated numbers make people feel good, and reflect the obvious fact that people on your friends list should have some assumed innate compatibility. They received numerous complaints from people disturbed by the concept of "106% compatibility"

For this test, they went with more mathematically sound calculations, and came up with numbers we think of as "less representative" of our own compatibility.

LJMatch just can't win for losing. ;)

I remember some people getting over 100 percent numbers. I thought it was odd, but it wouldn't have occurred to me to complain about it. In this venue, I don't particularly mind inflated numbers. Thanks for the background though.
