Date: 2004-05-20 03:56 pm (UTC)This is not "no longer the United States" because localized jerkism is in power. The Patriot Act, sure. Outrage is appropriate. But some power mad school principal? What are the odds he is removed, or at least disciplined? Pretty good, seems to me.
